A State Farm agent in Florida is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced insurance professional to assist with homeowners insurance quotes. This is a remote position, but candidates must reside in Florida to be considered.
About the RoleThis position focuses on quoting and onboarding homeowners insurance policies. A key part of the role involves working with both State Farm and Citizens insurance, with a special emphasis on handling Citizens quotes for customers who do not qualify for State Farm coverage.
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and timely homeowners insurance quotes
- Determine eligibility for State Farm vs. Citizens coverage
- Prepare and submit applications through the appropriate platforms
- Communicate effectively with customers throughout the quoting process
- Work closely with the agent and team to ensure smooth onboarding and policy issuance
Requirements
- Must reside in Florida
- Prior State Farm experience is required
- Active Florida 4-40 or 2-20 license
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage quoting systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
